Prof. Liu is a new affiliated PI at Synberc, an NSF-sponsored Synthetic Biology Center directed by Jay Keasling. Synberc brings together some of the top synthetic biology labs in the United States to establish the foundations of the new field through collaborative research and education. Arjun and Xiang recently presented posters at the Synberc fall meeting at MIT.

Prof. Liu is also a new member of the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, which supports work in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
