We are delighted that Theresa Berens Loveless will join our group as a postdoctoral fellow in January! Theresa is finishing her PhD in David Toczyski‘s group at UCSF, where she has done amazing work identifying new ubiquitin ligase substrates through ligase trapping in mammalian cells. At UCSF, Theresa also made new discoveries in the DNA damage response in yeast and important insights into the evolutionary conservation of drug mode of action. Prior to her PhD, Theresa studied DNA replication as a research assistant in Johannes Walter‘s group at Harvard Medical School. Theresa received her BS in Biological Sciences and BA in Philosophy from Stanford University. Welcome Theresa!
