Kelsey Fung, a recent UCI Biomedical Engineering grad, will join our lab as a Jr. Specialist this month. She will be working on projects involving molecular biology and cell culture and will help ensure that our lab runs smoothly. Kelsey carried out undergraduate research in Steve George’s lab, where her studies on integrin expression and its effect on how cells respond to extracellular matrix components resulted in a very nice publication.
