Congrats to Garri, Kristin, Arjun, and Alex for their excellent work on engineering two orthogonal DNA replication systems with tunable error rates and proving that they are mutually orthogonal, which will enable new applications in cell-based continuous evolution, genetic recording, and synthetic biology at large.
